Patrick Painter

Hey Everyone,

Representative Patrick Painter called me to chat and I told him that people at the caucus felt as though Payson wasn't being represented to well. He told me different things he had pushed for and worked on and I asked him to send me some stuff to post to our blog. This is what he sent. I have read through it and it's really great to see the work he has done. I'm asking all of you to read through it as well.
Thanks!!!

  1. I'm not sure where to find his voting record you posted about. Can you tell me where to find it?
    Thanks

  2. Thank you for keeping us informed through this blog. It is a great idea.
I just wanted you to know what I know about Pat Painter. He does have a great voting record. That is not his problem. It's the bills he sponsors. Look at senate bill 99.
Pat is after the irrigation companies. If his bills pass, it would destroy the irrigation companies. Before he was elected into office, he was trying to get his way with the irrigation company in Mona. When they wouldn't give him his way, he tried to sue them. The judge tossed it all out, and that's when he decided to run for office, so he could pass laws that would benefit him. So far, he has been unsuccessful in passing them. The first one got thrown out, the second time he had a senator endorse it under his name so that it wouldn't have Pat's name on it. Thankfully, the Mona irrigation company was able to inform the legislature what this bill was and they didn't pass it. So, this is where I have a problem with him and the Mona irrigation, and the Farm Bureau.
Richard Behling is meeting at my parents house in Mona tonight. He will get more information on Pat and will pass it on to the rest of the delegates. If you have any questions regarding Pat, you can call my parents, or the irrigation company in Mona. My parents # is 4356230480.
    Thanks

  3. What do we know about the challenger? It would be great having someone from Payson as our rep, if he is indeed conservative.
